Default Are you a reader?

Just curious if theres anymore readers here?

I have enjoyed reading from the my 1st grade year in elementary. I used to read anything I could get my hands on.

Now I prefer poetry, fiction, and some suspense.

Whos your favorite authors?

Its fun to read what others are thinking or their opinions on different things. Out of 100 people no ones words will be the same.

Good stuff

lol, I do some reading, like Steve, most of my reading is done on forums or blogs, but I do actually read some books when I find something that I think will interest me.

And yes, I do read. In several languages. My tastes are eclectic.... ranging from the original Chaucer and Sheakespeare in Old English to present-time Robert Ludlum's thrillers (unfortunately is passed away some years ago and the crap they now publish underhis name is just that: CRAP).

I also like the old classics like The Aeneid, The Illiad (Homer and Horatio). Mark Twain's works, George Sand's, Lao Tse's, Neruda, Nervo, Hemingway, Blazac... and miryad others. I personally own a 5000-volume library with books in English, Spanish, Portugese, Italian, French. As well as several first editions. And a lot of technical books mostly on computer science and netwok security.

If that makes me a reader, then I am a reader. I also read boxtops, 3 daily papers, countless magazines, blogs, crappy forums, your shit's neck tag, etc.

Why? Because good writing is what nutures the mind just as music nutures the soul and love nutures the heart.

I enjoy reading any of the Chicken Soup for Soul books. Also like reading about true crime, like serial killers. But it has been a while.
