A few other states have deregulated as well so far. This basically gives you the power to choose which energy company you want to use. The commonsense thing to do would be to choose the company with the lowest rates. The company that I think so far has the best rates is independence energy alliance. They give you 5% cashback at yearend as well. So if you spend $2000 a year on your energy than youll get back $70. It doesnt sound like much but if you add that on top of the savings from their cheaper rates as well than it will add up. In this economy you might as well save where you can. I signed up to be an associate for this company a few weeks ago because I feel like a lot of people would be interested in switching so they can save money. Well see how it goes. Check out my link for more detailed info on it and also the rate sheet to compare rates.
