Over here, that would be either gas mixed with water or gas mixed with low grade kerosene (the fuel used for lanterns) or other such mixture. The point is to convert XXX number gallons of genuine gas into twice the amount by adding some other combustible, but very cheap petroleum distillate... or water, and making it pass for the real thing at the pump.

This way, the gas station owner will almost double profits. It is considered some kind of racketeering under some federal and state statutes. If caught... oi!

Wow Moni...so I guess the question is is there anywhere good to get gas? As you know I live in DE-we usually go over the Bridge to Jerzy to the Flying J I guess it's in Pennsville or whatever...it seems to be the cheapest we've found.....thankls for the heads up...the LukOil on Mainstreet in Woodbury is also good...

... from Camp Pendleton on the North to San Ysidro on the South... good gas all the way. Just not cheap

Hey Palito...sorry I missed this...I have been to SanDiego (loved it) been to Pendelton (just to pick up vehicles for a CAX at 29 Palms-hated that too...then lived in BAERSTOW for 2 years....I liked SanDiego and Pendelton nice but big and got lost...gas prices high there too I guess they say NJ and CA have the highest Car Insurance guess they share gas prices too? Actually, NJ has some cheaper gas than DE

San Diego is California's third city and the nation's 7th. It is big but easy to move around and you know it. You lived in Barstow? That is in the desert and not part of San Diego - county or city - just a hole near the I-15 and I-40 interstates (I better stop advertising California before the web cops get me

As for gas prices, they are high all over the country. Barrel just hit $140 bucks earlier today. Insurance? It all depends on your age, location, kind of vehicle you drive, driving habits and driving record. Of course, if you drive a car like you jockey a helo out of Miramar MCAS (and most grunts do so) you are liable to get high rates

Personally, I pay about $350 bucks every six months for my 2007 Ford Edge using Geico. Not bad deal
