Default a technical question - wireless card

where do i go in Windows to find out the name of a hardware device that i have installed? i'm trying to find the right wireless driver for my laptop and I'm having a few problems because Dell lists about 10 seperate drivers. I installed one of the drivers, is recognized in device manager, but it doesn't pick up wireless and there is wireless in the building i am in. the problem started after my laptop crashed and i had to reinstall everything. unfortunately, i can't find my dell disk. thanks!

you can get the drivers with the product number under your lappy. s/n or p/n number. go to dell.com and enter that in the search. this will give you all the default drivers for your lappy. im sure the wifi one is in there if your pc came wifi ready out the box.
