Blog or traditional templates (?) - TalkNewJersey.net

I am seeing on a lot of websites that blogs are taking the place of traditional webpages. Do you think this is a good thing or a bad thing? I was talking to someone from one of the techie sites and she said she finds that working with a blog is a lot easier than creating your own webpages. I hope I got my question out right where everyone can understand it. This is in regard to a business site.

well the thing that powers the blog is the best tool (Wordpress for me). It allows you to have a CMS (content management system) ready to go out of the box. So many themes for it on the web that are free. Easy to customize and loved by google for seo purposes. so yea a blog is really a good tool to have. Wordpress can be used for so many things and blogs have gotten really popular in the last 2 years.

Well, in the beginning, I don't think blogs we very useful i.e. reading about someone day was entertaining, but not neccessarily educational. Now businesses have decided to become personable and to use it as a marketing tool. I too like wordpress. Its easy to use and the templates are decent. Its perfect for us non-techies.

Good question. i wonder what steve and Palito have to say about it.
