No need to thank me, my dear friend. The way things are around the world just now is such that nothing that happened before in the history of our Country prepares us for what lies up the road. It is not a walk on the park. A peace time force is quite different from a war time force.
For me, money and travel were never it. It was Country and Family. We did our duty so our people would keep enjoying the freedoms and way of life they take for granted and which make our country great and special. Anything less was moot.
Did you saw the two words I wrote at the top? He should be always faithful to his ideals, beliefs, country and family. Please tell him to think hard and make the right decision because once he does and signs in... no way out of it til reenlistment time.

It is a very scary thought but I support his decision. I can't tell him no he is 18 now. He is my first born.
He is not sure what branch he wants to sign up with. My family served in the Army but he is thinking about the Marines. All this might not happened until late this year.
Thanks for your concern.
