I beg to differ but the Atkins diet is very dangerous. Even its creator, Dr. Atkins himself, died of a heart attack and when his body was autopsied, it was found he had clogged arteries for all that meat fat... wow.

Dont believe me? Google it! Best diet is to have your dentist wire your teeth shut and eat using a straw!

The common sense way is to eat moderately (and a balanced diet) and exercise regularly. Ditch your car, walk, save money and lose weight.

Ditch your car? Hey, this is America and a car is part of the "american dream". Besides, in this time and age, a car is more of a necessity than a luxury, especially in the eastern and western seaboards where most people live great distances from where they work.

Eat moderately? Yeah, sure.. Actually, it is more like eat SENSIBLY! It is not as much a matter of how much you eat but the health qualities of food you ingest.

I could go on and on with this one, but check your facts and try to find 100 people who will eat sensibly day in and day out, excercise regularly (meaning at least three times a week), ditch their cars (walk) and etc... post up factual results (not studies from "x" or "y" think dump. studies can be fudged to lean for or against miryad things)... it will be interesting.

I actually just joined the YMCA here in Delaware and I am looking at trying to get there three days a week. Hope this works out I need to lose about 40 pounds.

best way, really?

just go see your friendly neighboor dentist and have him wireshut your theeth. after that, eat (drink) your food with a straw. Of course, savory fares such as a broiled steak or ossobucco dont taste so good when reduced to puree... so you will lose weight like heck.

keep the wires on for six months, our until you achieved your goal. a caveat: when the wires are removed, your jaw will be so sore that you will not want to do it again. lol
