Default best way to lose weight?

what do you think the best way to lose some weight is? I need to lose 30 pounds as im over weight and havent done anything but be on my PC and eat lol

so help me out and let me know what you think.

Well, I can tell you from expierience that cutting calories, bad fats, and bad charlestorel(sp?) out of your daily diet are all good first steps, then of course you're gonna also want to throw some exercise in there, and I'd recommend walking, lots and lots of walking, it's the best kind of exercise for you if you're not planning on being a marathon runner, and if you are, then I'd also say to do some jogging/running

Default have you seen the ads for colon cleasing?

Appartently, if you want to lose weight, you should start there and get all the leftovers out. there are some vivid pictures online, so brace yourself.

I second the walking notion, but you have to do it at least 30 minutes a day and get your heart pumping. Then increase your level of excerise all the while chaging your diet.

Drink lot sof water. . .lots of water.

I'm not going to say it's the best but I start the South Beach Diet on 7/12 and I already lost 10lbs. I'm in Phase 1. My friend has lost 40lbs in 6 months. The good thing about this diet is that it is a healthy diet. You're not depriving yourself, but still following a regiment. I like it so far because it's making think about what I eat before I eat.

Steve,

I am down about 15 lbs in 2 months.

I get up at 6 every morning and walk 30 - 45 minutes. And then I eat breakfast. A good bowl of Kashi cereal!

I've cut back on the bad foods, cut out the beer, cut out the soda and increase fruits and veggies and water.

I also eat a Fiber One bar twice a day and those things make you poop your brains out. They clean you right out! I've seen things come out that I ate when I was 10 years old!

The above combination is my routine! It works for me.

Remember, not all diets, or suggestions will work for you. You will have to experiment.

Default Yeah I was on a unheatly diet

Atkins diet worked for me a very long time ago but I felt unhealthy on it. South Beach is a way of life and probably works the best since it helps you to create a habit. Keep it balance, but in the eginning, you have to step it up a bit to get the results you want.

Admitting that you need to lose weight and seriously understand that health factors that come along with being over weight is the first step.

The second is to see your doctor to help you set a goal for yourself. Eating right, exercising, and drinking water are the main 3 things thats needed.

If you have problems controlling what you eat then have family help you. Have them eat healthy and work out with you.

If you forget to exercise or need motivation then join a gym or do it with a friend.

Make sure to not be hard on yourself if you miss a day. Relapse happens.

When you start losing weight it will all be worth it. You will not only look better but will feel better about yourself as well.

Kudos to you for trying.

Don't be hard on yourself. It is a start. And don't forget that you will lose, then go into a platau where you exercise and diet but don't lose anything and then you will lose again.

People hit that platau and get frustrated because they are not losing anything for a few weeks.
