See you sometime around the forum. Perhaps you could show me the best NJ has to offer?

Actually I'm from Delaware but raised and lived in Jersey for 17 years. I call Jersey home still.

What part of Cali are you from??? (If you don't mind me asking)

I hail from San Diego -- the southwesternmost city and county in the USA -- born and raised there. It is right next to the Mexican border and locals routinely commute between both sides for business or pleasure (Sandiegans consider Tijuana their backyard and playground and Tijuanans do likewise with San Diego).

Cool!!! I went to San Diego and LA about 3 years ago for a funeral with my ex-husband (he's from El Cajon). Nice area. I loved the mountain sides. Didn't get the chance to go to Tijuana, not enough time

Thanks for sharing where you're from

So u know the area, at least in passing (sorry for the pun). Yep, City of El Cajon (aka, El Cajon Valley or Valle del Cajon). Nice area but very hot in summertime.

Did you know that you can drive through our county in about two to three hours's time through our wonderful freeway system and go from snowcapped mountains in the Northeast, to the ocean on the west, to the desert on the east and everything in between?.

I sure love it here.

Sounds beautiful by what you say. I went in October and it was hot during the day and cool at night. I will never forget the carne-asada tacos I ate for 3 days, LOL. They were the best I ever had.

The Mexican food in Delaware doesn't compare to Cali's!!!

Maybe I should move to DE and open an authentic Mexican eatery. Tacos de carne asada, adobados, de cabeza, de carnitas, de buche, de tripas, de uyyyyy, ya me dio hambre. jajajaja!

Y con una ice cold chela para bajarlos!

And to think you never went to TJ... you would have been enthranced with the tacos over there, ROTF!
