Lets see. Today is my day off, but I went to work anyway. I have one of those careers where the job never ends. I ran into a little bit of traffic, 20 minutes worth. Same old, Same Old. I joined this site to network. I like it thus far.

I'm currently working on two projects.

Alljerseymls.com b/c I'm in real estate sales and bizintros.com, which is a business networking site that's under construction. I'm building this one just because I love anything to do with the web.

I hope the experience here will be pleasant. I'd love to hear about your individual projects or if you have questions about real estate, I'm here for you.

I'm working on a few projects right now, none of which are really worth mentioning at this point, but in a few weeks when I get some bugs worked out, I'd be more than happy to show them.

welcome to the forum and we're glad you made it. I've been trying to actually learn about real estate with short sales here in California. Its so bad for some people and paying that mortgage when the house tanks in value.

we have an online business section now so any questions just let me know.

Last year, I successfully sold my first short sale. I represented the buyer. It took forever, the bank was not cooperating. In fact, we closed on the house 1 hour before the sheriff sale. That was crazy, but once you get one crazy one under your belt, it gets to be like this:

You have to know what you are getting into. . .look before you leap kind of thing, but also, leap becuase some deals are just to hard to past. Keep me posted on your progress. I have in Cali twice this year: Feb and April. Boy was I surprised by the prices. It made me want to buy. . .but then again, I don't live there.

houses here are dropping dramatically. My boy owns a house in westechester and bought his house at 750k . In 2 years it dropped in value to 600k. Hes bailing on the house since he doesnt want to pay a mortgage for a house thats over the value of the pad.

i guess you just have to know how to negotiate with the bank once your the new owner.

what hes doing is having a specialist move the property into a trust and negotiate it with out the first owner. its crazy how it all works.

Your boy should settle down; sounds like its his personal residence. Real estate is circular. His house will appreciate. He may have to stay there 10-14 years, but if it's his personal residence and he has no intentions of moving, he should be fine.
