Default I'm New to this site....
Hi my name is Colleen/jerzywitch69. I grew up in the Fairview section of Camden..I went in the Marines moved back to Fairview then out of Fairview and have lived in Haddon Twp and West Deptford. My family all still live in Jerzy......I heard of this site from RosaM68 and also saw Naomi now from talkdelaware.com...I now live in New Castle, DE I'm sure I'll run into some ole friends here.....I'm sure lotsa great people on here as well ad TD!

this forum is growing. I've only been a member for two weeks and so far like 15 new people, which is great. My future hubby wants to move to Delaware. He keps asking me to go look at condos.

How long have you been there? do you like it?

Hey 3hats-it's ok over here...taxes are way cheaper the homes are usually more than over in jerzy however with the market the way it is lots of homes for sale cheap. The school systems I don't think are as good as in jerz unless you live like in the Brandywine area (the wealthier) neighborhoods. It's just my opinion but even the poorer towns etc in jerzy have good schools-I think it's because of the tax base and the fact that taxes pay alot for education and attract better paid teachers and school equip. So it's something to think about. its nice here and folks are cool but the job market not so good guess just like everywhere.
