I love Burnett BBQ in Union
They pack the food on the plate to feed you all day. Lots of starch and carbs, so i can't go there every day, but try the Chicken in Garlic Sauce. Its awesome.

Hmmmm, which Union are you talking about, Union County or Hunterdon County, cause I'm in the Union in Union County quite a bit, and next time I'm there I'll have to stop by, thanks for the tip.

Is this place Portuguese? I like to get BBQ from Algarve restaurant (overall food and sitdown ambience is nice here too) in Elizabeth which is in Union County also. The take out places are quite good as well. I like getting BBQ chicken, rice and french fry platters.

I forget that there is a Union in hunterdon county. Union in union County. Yes it's Portuguese. I have to warn you though. Good food, but the customer service is well, to put it nicely. . .questionable. but, don't worry about it. Its part of the experience.

lol, I actually talked to my buddy that lives in Union this morning, he knows where the place is, but he's never eaten there, so we're going to try it next time I get out that way.

Yeah I've lived in Union going on 5 years now, and have never eaten there. For good BBQ I usually go to Churrasquera (sp?) in Elizabeth right off of Elmora Ave. by the post office and bar.

Have you been to a place called La Farandula? It's on the corner of Summer and Bloomfield Ave. That is the only place that has a good pernil. That restaurant is Dominican by the way.
