And I am soooooo excited. The time just flew by!
At first back in July of 2008 we we booked a cruise to the Western Carribean through Carnival, plans fell through with some people in our group and nobody could go...bleh! So we decided that we were still going on vacation because we had taken the time off and we chose to see Los Angeles and Las Vegas!!!!
I hope to catch some of the Cinco De Mayo celebrations as we arrive in LA on May 2 and we leave for Vegas on the 5th...oh gosh! We wanted to spend more time in Vegas so that's why we decided to only give LA three nights.
So far, we have no idea what we're going to do in LA because we keep changing our minds. I am definitely going to Santa Monica or Malibu beach. I must see a California beach or I'll die! LOL! No, I just want to wear a swimsuit on my new body. Ha!
We also talked about the San Diego Zoo and Universal Studios. I'm definitely going to pay my respects to the Ramones at their memorial in Hollywood. I am a die hard Ramones fan if you didn't know. I also want to see if we can get into Mind of Mencia although I haven't checked into that yet. If not, no big deal.
Vegas is going to straight relaxation, gambling and club hopping. We bought passes to club hop on one night. We're also going to the Paris Hotel and having dinner at the Eiffel Tower Restaurant...a bit pricey, but I really want to go. I also want to hit the Venetian Hotel and take a ride on the Gondolier...the drivers sing to you like they do in Italy! Sweet.
We're staying at an airport hotel in LA in a plain on hotel, but that's fine. In Vegas, we booked a one-bedroom suite at the Signature at MGM. I requested a strip view so let's hope we get it.
So now, all we do now is wait and it's driving me insane.
