I like the color scheme along with the layout style.
Something is missing (I know you are in the first stage) but yeah I would forward the site to my boss.

I will more than likely add some buttons that encourages people to sign up, join now or plug in. my main purpose is attract other Business professionals that will share their expertise as a way to build future relationship. i'm attaching the database to the skin next week. so, we shall see. i'll keeo you posted. thanks for feedback.
